Call for Papers MANECCS 2012 Biennial Conference on Canadian Studies
The Middle Atlantic and New England Council for Canadian Studies (MANECCS) invites you to join us for our biennial scholarly conference on Canada, to be held at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, September 27-30, 2012.
Proposals for presentations in any field of Canadian Studies are sought. Of special interest are papers and panels that examine Canadian music, aspects of the War of 1812, or Canadian connections to Philadelphia and Pennsylvania generally. Students of Canada at all levels of scholarly endeavour are encouraged to participate.
Abstracts of 250 words should be submitted to electronically to the MANECCS Philadelphia conference chair: Joseph McGinn, Towson University (jcmcginn@towson.edu). Deadline for submission of abstracts is APRIL 1, 2012.
