The Canadian-American Center at the University of Maine invites proposals for the 2024 Atlantic Canada Studies Conference to be held at the University of Maine in Orono, Maine, USA on the weekend of May 10-12, 2024.

Dr. Raymond J. Pelletier (1942-2023)
I write with the sad news that Dr. Raymond Pelletier passed away on May 15, 2023. Ray taught at the University of Maine, Orono in the Modern Languages and Classics department. He also served as the Associate Director of the Canadian-American Center. A specialist of francophone culture, he was a frequent participant at Canadian studies conferences.
